BWBC Opportunity Fund

The LDCENY Opportunity Fund, created in partnership with HSBC, The Brooklyn Women’s Business Center, and the East Brooklyn Business Improvement District (EBBID), is a powerful new investment in East Brooklyn’s future. This initiative provides up to $10,000 in grant funding to aspiring entrepreneurs and early-stage businesses (five years old or less based in East New York, Brownsville, Canarsie, Starrett City and Cypress Hills.) Applicants will compete for the chance to be selected as one of 10 finalists who will participate in an accelerated business training program focused on strengthening their business model, building a professional pitch deck, and preparing for a live pitch event. At the final showcase, participants will present their ideas to a panel of expert judges – with funding awarded to help them turn their vision into reality.
